Funding

Advicehub receives funding from the Big Lottery Fund for a specialist team based at Cambridge CAB and for the investment in ICT needed to support the project’s technological infrastructure.

Additional funding from EEDA, Cambridge City Council, Business Link and South Cambridgeshire District Council, Advicehub has set up a network of self-help touchscreen kiosks across the county. This means that people can not only access web-based advice through these kiosks sited in community locations across the county, but in future will also be able to take part in remote specialist advice interviews using webcams and Skype phones.
