The Advicehub Partnership Forum (APF) has been set up to improve people’s access to advice services by creating effective communications mechanisms for member agencies.  Better communication between organisations leads to a streamlining of the ‘advice process ‘, ensuring that clients get the best and most relevant advice for their particular issues.

Over 40 advice agencies are currently working together in the Partnership Forum to create an improved  advice service for everyone in our community by:

• Creating a common registration form , making it simpler and quicker for agencies to refer clients to specialist advice

• Increasing the number of organisations using a ‘gateway’ process to assess people’s advice needs on arrival

• Setting up a web-based service mapping exercise for greater communication amongst agencies

An Advicehub Partnership event was held in Autumn 2011 in Cambridge to look at the future of consumer advice delivery, with speakers including Gillian Guy, Chief Executive of Citizens Advice; and Leon Livermore, Chairman of The Trading Standards Institute. Click here for more details.

Quality Marks – Which one should you go for?

Currently there is a wide selection of various quality marks and accreditations that it is often very difficult to decide which is best suited for your organisation.  The Quality Standards document provides a really good overview of the Marks you could be considering and will hopefully prove a useful tool for reference in the future.
